This holistic flow yoga class is infused with and integrates Ayurvedic concepts, and supports a harmonious body and mind, balancing the doshas and helping to bring body constitutions into balance. Ayurveda and Yoga are referred to as sister sciences as they stem from the same Vedic traditions. This class includes asana, pranayama, meditation, and more with modifications offered for individual body constitutions. Those taking the class will learn more about different Ayurvedic principles throughout the class. Each monthly class will be adapted for the current Ayurvedic Season and stages of life, helping to calm those factors that aggravate all doshas. It is helpful for those taking the class to know their Prakriti (body constitution) and Vikriti (current imbalance), though unnecessary.
